GoGo20 Training: 2 VERY IMPORTANT STEPS WHEN YOU BLOG (it will get you seen) and Some Really Good Tips!….by Coach Brenda Wagner
There are 2 VERY IMPORTANT things that I do not want you to forget when you are posting articles on your blogs. Plus, I got some really good tips for ya’ll.
1. When you write your title, make sure that you put at the end:
….by Your Name
Why? Because you are now going to be branding yourself. You want people to start seeing your name on the net. Look around my blog, you see how my posts have my name in the title? Do that too o.k? By the way, I learned that from master blogger Joey Kissimmee (my hero!!)
I do have other authors that provide content for me so I don’t put my name on their articles, it’s a respect thing.
2. Every time you post an article on your blog, you need to “Ping” it.
What is pinging your blog? When you ping your blog, you are alerting the world wide web that there is new content and the web crawlers will pick up on your article.
It sorta blasts your info all over the net.
To ping your blog, here is my favorite site to do that (make sure you bookmark that page):
1. Paste in the title to your article.
2. Paste in your blog web address including the http://
3. Click on “check all”
4. Accept the terms
5. Click on “ping my blog”
6. Then just let it do it’s work, it will take a few minutes.
There are also many other pinging sites. Do a google search.
I just use that one and pingoat.com
If you use more than 1 site for pinging, make sure you wait a half hour inbetween each or so to do the others………they could get you for spamming.
Personal note: I see some of our team out there have started blogging! Awesome job everyone!!!
Here’s what I want you to do……..post a comment on this article here, at the bottom right now and I want you to put your blog website so I can see some more. This is also going to show you how to comment on other people’s blogs and leave your link! You will get some traffic.
When reading someones blog…….you can leave a comment, but do not post ANYTHING about GoGo20, or any business for that matter. It’s considered spamming.
What I do is, for instance, if I am reading someone’s blog about cheap or frugal living, I will comment something like this:
Wow Mary, I love your idea about never spending change, I am going to start doing that! Thanks!

That’s all I do. People might wonder what I am a coach of, and how come I have my own domain with my name. They will get curious and click on it.
GoGo Joe and John Pate uses bit.ly in their tweet posts and when commenting on things which works great. When you post your affiliate link, people will know that you are an affiliate by the way it looks:
http://www.parttimeincomesystem.com/6430
But Joe and John has success using bit.ly because when people see it, they also get curious. It will look like this:
http://bit.ly/60dSi1
bit.ly is a url shortening service which is a must use on certain social sites like Twitter. They only allow a certain amount of characters that you can type out so instead of typing a long url, just use bit.ly
Set up a free account at bit.ly
Paste in your long affiliate url (or any site that you want to shorten).
Then it will give you your bit.ly link
Paste it on your notepad where you keep all of your GoGo20 links along with the campaign link that you created (keep them together for quick reference and so you can track it).
So to sum it up:
Put your name in the title of your article: ……by Your Name
Remember to ping your blog when you write a new article every time.
Bookmark the 2 pinging sites I gave you so they are handy.
Get social with people, leave personal comments (not about your GoGo20 business), and sign your name and either your domain site, or your bit.ly link.
I love you guys and gals!! GoGo20 brought us all together, and this year is going to be our year for making money and helping people.
I am so proud of you getting started with blogging. Don’t forget to comment below, and leave me your links to your blogs o.k? It may take me a bit because I moderate all comments to keep the riff raff out (you know, the spammers that leave business ads and links, that’s a huge no no). But you are my students, and I want to see how you are all doing with your blogs, and I am the captain of my domain, lol. Hey, you are going to all be captains of your domains!! Plus, it will be good exposure for you, my readers will get to know you.
